Reconditioned Alfa Laval NX 309 Decanter Centrifuge on stand, motors and controls

Mars Tech offers decanter centrifuges for industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, food , dairy and municipal liquid solid and liquid liquid separation applications.

Suitable for crushed or pressed oil seeds. Produces clean oil and dry meal byproduct.

Decanter type centrifuges are proven suitable for high solids separation of particulates from industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical liquids and municipal wastewater dewatering.

Decanters for continuous clarification of liquid solid suspensions

Working Principle:

Typically a decanter centrifuge consists on a cylindrical and conical bowl sections on pillow blocks. Centrifugally separated solids are moved and discharged through sludge ports by means of a conveyor or scroll of the same contour within the bowl. The separation can be arranged for either clarification or purification. The relative speed between the bowl and the scroll is controlled by a planetary or cyclonic gearbox which is an integral and most important part of the decanter centrifuge. The scroll is generally hard surfaced for wear and erosion protection.

NX 309S-11 reconditioned three phase decanter centrifuge with main motor and control panel on a mounting stand. Use for continuous purification or concentration of liquid/liquid/solid suspensions. (eg. Oil, water, solids separation)

Suitable for Biodiesel, pressed seeds of Canola oil, Olive oil, Soya oil, fish meal, food waste, animal fat, oily waste. Max capacity: 40 GPM. Actual capacity is application specific and can be as low as 2 gpm depending on percent solids in feed, particulate micron size, viscosity etc.
